This 86‘XJ6 is the Last Year That's European Made Model that has always been under cover, its first owner was an airlines pilot that spent more miles in the air then on the ground with only 104,718 km (65, 068 miles) and all maintenance records have been kept well documented. There is a lot of nice things to be said. Brand new paint job, new tires, new windshield, new wipers, new battery and the interior is in impeccable shape. The oil and transmission fluid had been changed and had a remarkable review from specialty mechanic. He was impressed on how clean the engine was for the year " there's little to no oil leaks, its amazingly clean" Said the mechanic. I bought this car as an investment because it was in such good shape. But the fact is I’m not much of a gear head and don’t have the drive and time to put in all the detail work into it. Such as a few running lights, one window is not operational, needs new brakes, head light bulbs and some trim mounted to the body. Most of which i have just have not installed. Even thought there is not much to be done I just want it off my hands and into someones else's that can really enjoy it.

Detail: Classy '87 XJ-6 is for sale. All mechanics very good, body outstanding, interior good. Only non-stock item is a Panasonic MP3 playing in-dash. The original radio will be included. Good runner, nice ride. No Rust...Am selling due to loosing interest in restoring. This is a very reliable car, and (amazingly) gets around 24mpg @ 60mph.
I have over $12K invested.
When I bought the car it NEEDED work, and I gave it everything it wanted. In the last couple years, EVERY component of the suspension was replaced, axle seals/bearings, rotors (yes the difficult rear ones too), steering rack, in-dash trip computer, cruise control mechanism, radiator, wiper motor and controls. Engine had one bad valve, I replaced all 24 of them in a total top-end overhaul. Lower engine was checked at that time and crank, pistons and block are all within factory specifications. Transmission is good. Ignition system is fresh and new. All Jaguar parts, no aftermarket junk.
Last year, her body was stripped, minor dings fixed, and repainted with correct code black, correct pinstrips, and two coats of clear. She shines and glitters in the sun.
In short, when you look at this car, you CANNOT go by the big milage number. This XJ-6 is practically a new car!
