This car is one of 1035 Turbo Limiteds made in 1987. The only car rarer is the GNX. It has the original drive train, 98K miles, runs smooth, strong and quite. Paint is 2 years old and is the original color code 11. This is the most desirable color combination with the W02 black-out exterior sport option. The engine has some bolt-on’s but was never internally modified. Bolt-on’s include; 42lb injectors, upgraded Turbo, Hooker 2.5 inch catback dual exhaust, 3 inch downpipe, 160 degree thermostat, Spectre cone air filter, adjustable waste gate, Red Armstrong 93 Race chip, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and fuel pressure gauge, and LeBonte methanol injection. The car is super-responsive and very fast, adult driven, never raced. Car has never been smoked in.
During the repaint all new rubber weatherstripping was installed along with new power-window motors.
GNX-style wheels and tires are a year old; Tires are Goodyear Eagle GT’s, 245x60/16. Rear end is the correct 3:42 posi. Plug wires are new and correct, new heater control valve, radiator flushed, original alternator was recently rebuilt, new brakes, new GM cam sensor, new rear springs, new inner and outer tie rods (alignment was done and other front-end components checked out okay), new battery, new spark plugs, new belt tensioner, fresh oil change and filter, etc. The list goes on. Options include the Concert Sound II radio with cassette and Equalizer, plus an MP3 jack. The radio was recently reconditioned and new speakers were installed front and rear. Plays beautifully, including the cassette deck.
Lots of receipts and Turbo Buick info go with the car.
This is a beautiful car, rides and drives like it looks. Very fast and classy, no disappointments…just drive and enjoy.
