I've got a used 1992 GMC Typhoon for sale. It's a suv with radar blue exterior and grey leather interior. It also has a 6 Cylinder engine with Automatic transmission and had 84,856 miles on it when listed. This suv has AC, Cruise, CD Player, . It's for sale in San Antonio , TX, but offers from anywhere are welcomed. Asking price is $17,500.
Detail: A TRULY COLLECTIBLE performance vehicle!
One of only 2 in the entire Solar System! GM only produced 2 Typhoons in Radar Blue, which is a screwy bluish purple, depending on what angle and in what light you view it; one is in London and I have the other!
As the attached pictures will show, the bloody thing's been up on jackstands since 2004-- me and my bright ideas... trying to refurb and swap-on a set of the original-style wheels I got off my Syclone� so I could make it look �cooler� by painting the slotted segments to match the body color. You be the judge to see how close I got, but in any event I only managed to get up enough ambition and time to finish ONE wheel in 7 years! However, I've now FINISHED ALL 4 WHEELS and the Maxxis tires (MA-501, V-rated) for this rocket-sled have been mounted, balanced, and installed at long last!
In summary, here�s the only other MODIFICATIONS I was able to make on this unique Typhoon:
� Front-end linkages completely rebuilt with Moog joints & PST Bushings
� Shocks replaced with Edelbrock EAS units; load-leveling air-pump disabled
� A/C compressor replaced + new R12
� New distributor cap & rotor
� New purple, color-coordinated Taylor spiral-wound ignition wires
� New purple, color-coordinated silicone wiper-blades
� Flex-a-Lite fiberglass/composite leaf-springs
� Magical, burn-forever Torque-Master �ring-electrode� sparkplugs
� Knife-switch on a brand-new 550CCA Interstate Battery
� New ECM computer (or I can replace with Original) + Performance Chip
� ATR stainless 3� exhaust system, cat-back
� Custom, color-coordinated floor-mats & steering-wheel cover
� Throttle-body inlet air-foil
� New engine sensors throughout
