Buy a used 1941 International Antique from a private seller, not a dealer, and save money. It's a commercial with black with flames exterior and charcoal grey interior. Detail: This is definitely a head turner. I have taken this truck to car shows and it draws attention like a magnet!
Frame and front axle are from a 1946 Chevy pickup. The frame has been modified and boxed in for strength. The front is mounted with wishbones and cross springs and has mid 70’s disc brakes, painted steel wheels and 205-75-15 tires. Rear end is also from the mid 70’s GM with drum brakes and is mounted with a 3 link setup and quarter elliptical springs, steel wheels and 31x10.50x15. Motor is 1991 stock small block Chevy and is hooked to a mid 70’s turbo 350.
Cab is a 1941 IH and has been chopped 5 inches and we channeled the cab 4.5 inches over the frame rails, all new floors and front and rear glass. Box is from a 1955 ford cut down and has a Diamond 760 motor oil sign for the floor. Battery also sits in the rear box.
Has a visor and two stacks on the truck that can be removed if you do not want them included. They are bolted on items.
